Maine Emergency Communications Net

The MECN meets each Sunday at 1700 (1630 wintertime) on 3940 khz. The purpose of the net is to discuss emergency communications related topics among Amateur Radio Emergency Service members, and others interested in disaster preparedness. Jose Douglas, KB1TCD is Net Manager. Recently, the net has been designated as NTS affiliated and more radiogram traffic is being relayed during the net.
